Kids’ Groups

Groups for Kids

Our interest groups offer a space for kids to get together, make friends, and discuss books and other literary-related topics. Kids will have a chance to explore various activities to find out what excites them most and dive deeper into the stories and topics they love. Find the group that fits your age and interest, then sign up on the Events Calendar for the next meeting.

Kids’ group meetings will be held at Eastern Bank on Main Street at 3:00 pm. Times and dates might change later in the year as our space changes.

For Book Worms, kids will all check out the same book, which is announced the month before the program meeting. They should read the book before the monthly meeting, either independently or with someone. Copies of each book will be available at the Children’s Desk. E-copies and audiobook copies of some books may also be found on Libby.

Programs will take place at Eastern Bank. Space is limited and registration is required for all participants. Please sign children up for the group that matches their grade level for a chance to meet, connect, and discuss with grade level peers. Caregivers must remain in the vicinity.
