Welcome to the Melrose Public Library Teen Zone!

The teen zone is a space for 6th-12th graders to use library computers and Wi-Fi,
study and visit with friends, and browse the Young Adult collection.

Programs

Teen Tiny Art Show (ages 11-18)

Calling all teens ages 11-18! Do you want to see your artwork on display at the library? Participate in our Tiny Art Show by picking up a supply kit and creating your best piece of art. Return your artwork to the Library (263 West Foster Street) by February 7th at 5pm.

1. Register online starting Jan. 21st at 10am

2. Pick up a supply kit from the Library Jan. 21st – Feb. 3rd:

  • tiny canvas with easel
  • paint
  • paintbrushes

3. Drop off your art and easel by 5pm on Feb. 7th

Supplies are limited, signing up early is highly encouraged. Register online.

Artwork may not contain vulgarity or violence, the art will be displayed in the Library which is a public, all ages space.

Teen and Tween Advisory Group – currently on hiatus

Calling teen and tween lovers of the library! Join Teen and Tween Advisory Group and make your voice count as we plan library services! This group meets every first Wednesday.
