Please join bestselling author Paul Clerici at the Melrose Public Library at 69 West Emerson Street on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 7 p.m., as he shares stories about the iconic Boston Marathon and Hall of Fame coach Bill Squires, who coached Boston Marathon winners Bill Rodgers, Alberto Salazar, Greg Meyer, wheelchair athlete Bob Hall, and others. Clerici has written extensively on the race in his Boston Marathon History by the Mile, Images of Modern America: The Boston Marathon, and newly released Boston Marathon Traditions and Lore, as well as Born to Coach: The Story of Bill Squires.

His storytelling is supplemented with a multimedia presentation of images from his books, which include some from rare collections and some never seen before! Books will be available to purchase and can be signed by the author. Find more information about Paul at www.paulclerici.com.
