MUSEUM PASS PAGE

The Melrose Public Library offers discounted passes to many local are museums. In most cases, a co-pay will be collected by the museum (note: additional charges may apply for viewing special exhibits).

A household may reserve one pass per day. Some venues may be limited to 2 passes per month. Passes may be reserved up to 30 days in advance.

When reserving a pass, visit the museum’s website to review current requirements for visitor admission and updated operating hours. The library pass reservation calendar may not reflect changes to museum open dates and hours of operation.

Many museums limit capacity via timed ticket reservations.  Failure to reserve tickets may result in non-admission.

The library pass is not a ticket and does not guarantee admission or a reservation on a chosen date.

While most passes are available in a digital format, others must be picked up at the library during hours of operation (Harvard Museums of Science & Culture, Paul Revere House, Trustees of Reservations, and Zoo New England). Some of these passes (Paul Revere House) will need to be returned to the library prior to opening the following day.

Digital pass users will receive a confirmation email with an “Access Pass” link including instructions to redeem the library discount (if you do not have an email account, a printed confirmation may be picked up at the Main Desk of the library).
